The 1,720cc flat-four was rebuilt in 2025 by Havasu Porsche, including new cylinder heads, an 86mm big-bore piston and cylinder kit, an aluminum oil cooler, and refinishing of various engine components. Power is delivered through a replacement five-speed manual transaxle.
Features include 15" perforated steel wheels with Porsche-crest hubcaps, Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires, four-wheel disc brakes, pop-out rear quarter windows, chrome bumper guards, and a 100-liter fuel tank. The cabin retains its period character with black leatherette bucket seats, rear jump seats, painted dashboard, and wood-rimmed steering wheel.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 36,000 miles, with roughly 600 added under current ownership. Additional recent work included repairing and refinishing the doors and front trunk lid.
Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, Kardex copy, original-style tool kit, and previous service records. This 912 is believed to be one of roughly 1300 cars with the coveted "painted dash".
